A lifelong resident of the area, Captain Don (or “Double D” as he is known locally) is a US Coast Guard certified vessel master (licensed to skipper up to 100 tons) with over 20 years professional boating experience. He is also a licensed PADI rescue diver, dive master, and dive instructor.

An accomplished angler and serious contender, Captain Don has personally been involved in collecting over one-quarter of a million dollars in tournament winnings.
