WHAT TO EXPECT

What To Wear

No Shirts, No Shoes, No Problem…but you may want to wear sunscreen.

On the Charter Boat SURE LURE, we want you to feel right at home…or, at least, at your home away from home. So, wear what you want. We would recommend deck-friendly footwear, as well as lightweight apparel to suit the pleasant Destin and Gulf weather conditions. Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are highly recommended. On breezy Spring and Fall days, you may also want to bring a light jacket. Check the weather in advance at www.weather.com to best plan for your fishing attire.

What To Bring

With your charter, we provide licenses, tackle, frozen bait, ice, expert assistance, and fish cleaning once back at the dock.

You are responsible to provide your own food, water, drinks, sunscreen, ice chests (to take your fish home), cameras, and whatever other items keep you happy. If you have any questions on what to bring, call Captain Don on (850) 376-8399 or email us at fish@surelurecharters.com.

What To Expect

In general, the SURE LURE departs at 6:00 AM from the Destin Fishing Fleet docks (located right behind the Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant at 210 HWY 98 in Destin, just east of the Destin bridge). The early morning departure ensures a robust day of fishing in the prime time of the day. Other departure times can be arranged, and some departures vary based on nature of the charter (afternoon half day trips, night trips, and/or overnight trips). We understand that your time is valuable—as such, the boat will arrive back to the docks promptly at the time you were scheduled to come back.

Other than that, you should just expect to fish and have fun doing so.
